Harshani Dilrukshika is one of the Entomologists at the Crop Protection Division in the Coconut Research Institute of Sri Lanka.

She possesses her M.Sc. in Plant Protection Technology from the Postgraduate Institute of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya. She earned her bachelor's degree in Agricultural Technology Management from the same university.

Soon after her graduation, she was able to join as a Temporary Lecturer for a one-year period at the Department of Agricultural Biology, University of Peradeniya. During her career tenure, she has worked as an Executive Plant Protection at the CIC Cropwize (Pvt.) Ltd, later as a Research Assistant at the Department of Agriculture, Sri Lanka. Moreover, she has been occupied as a Research Officer for nearly three months at the National Institute of Postharvest Management, Anuradhapura.
