Background
Hello I am Pramuditha Waidyarathne, the Principal Biometrician at Coconut Research Institute of Sri Lanka. Having 16 years’ experience and holding a PhD in Computational Modelling and Systems Biology, I constantly explore disciplines in statistics in pursuit of learning life from data. My current areas of research and exploration are computational modelling and climate change. I am interested in how advanced soft computing procedures along with systems approaches can help us unravel complexity of biological systems to gain in-depth understanding. As hobbies, I enjoy exploring nature, reading books, listening to music and taking care of animals.
