The Home of Coconut Technology is now accepting registrations for its certificate course designed for coconut growers and those interested in coconut cultivation. This comprehensive program includes practical demonstrations to enhance technical knowledge, insights into plantation management, labor laws, and value-added coconut products.

පොල් තාක්ෂණයේ මහ ගෙදරින් පොල් වගාකරුවන්ගේ තාක්ෂණික දැනුම, වතු පාලනය පිළිබඳ දැනුම, කම්කරු නීති සහ අගය එකතු කළ පොල් නිෂ්පාදන පිළිබඳව අවබෝධය වැඩි කිරීම සඳහා ප්‍රායෝගික දර්ශන ඇතුළත්ව පොල් වගාකරුවන් සහ පොල් වගාවට උනන්දුවක් දක්වන්නන් සඳහා පවත්වන සහතිකපත්‍ර පාඨමාලාවට ලියාපදිංචි වීමට දැන් ඔබටත් අවස්ථාව ඇත.

2025 වර්ෂය සඳහා පොල් පර්යේෂණ ආයතනයේ රාජකාරි ආරම්භ කිරීම

පොල් පර්යේෂණ ආයතනයේ රාජකාරි නව වසර සඳහා ආරම්භ කිරීම 2025 ජනවාරි 1වන දින පොල් පර්යේෂණ ආයතනයේ අඹසෙවන පරිශ්‍රයේදී හා ශ්‍රවණාගාරයේදී සිදුවිය.

රටේ භෞමික අඛණ්ඩතාවය වෙනුවෙන් දිවිපිදූ රණවිරුවන් හා සියලුම අය වෙනුවෙන් මිනිත්තු දෙකක නිශ්ශබ්දතාවයක් පැවැත්වීමෙන් අනතුරුව පොල් පර්යේෂණ ආයතනයේ සියළුම නිලධාරීන්, ජනාධිපති ලේකම් කාර්යාලයේ සිට විකාශය කෙරුණු “ක්ලීන් ශ්‍රී ලංකා" (Clean Sri Lanka) වැඩසටහන එළිදැක්වීමේ ජාතික වැඩසටහන හා සම්බන්ධවී ක්ලීන් ශ්‍රී ලංකා (Clean Sri Lanka) පුරවැසි ප්‍රතිඥාව ලබා දෙන ලදී.

පොල් පර්යේෂණ මණ්ඩලයේ සභාපති මහාචාර්ය අජිත් ජයවීර මහතා සහ වැඩබලන අධ්‍යක්ෂිකා ආචාර්ය නයනි ආරච්චිගේ මහත්මිය විසින් පොල් පර්යේෂණ ආයතනයේ සියළුම නිලධාරීන් අමතන ලදී.

මෙම අවස්ථාවට පොල් පර්යේෂණ මණ්ඩලයේ සභාපති මහාචාර්ය අජිත් ජයවීර මහතා, වැඩබලන අධ්‍යක්ෂිකා ආචාර්ය නයනි ආරච්චිගේ මහත්මිය ඇතුළු ආයතනයේ සියලුම නිළධාරීන් සහභාගී විය.

2023 වර්ෂය සඳහා රාජ්‍ය අංශයේ හොඳම වාර්ෂික වාර්තා සහ ගිණුම් සම්මාන උළෙලේදී පොල් පර්යේෂණ ආයතනය පර්යේෂණ අංශයේ රිදී සම්මානය දිනා ගන්නා ලදී. ශ්‍රී ලංකා වරලත් ගණකාධිකාරී ආයතනයේ රාජ්‍ය අංශයේ අංශය වන ශ්‍රී ලංකා රාජ්‍ය මූල්‍ය ගණකාධිකාරීවරුන්ගේ සංගමය (APFASL) විසින් සංවිධානය කරන ලද 2023 වර්ෂය සඳහා රාජ්‍ය අංශයේ හොඳම වාර්ෂික වාර්තා සහ ගිණුම් සම්මාන උළෙලේදී උසස් තත්ත්වයේ මූල්‍ය වාර්තාකරණය අගයමින් පොල් පර්යේෂණ ආයතනය පර්යේෂණ අංශයේ රිදී සම්මානය දිනා ගන්නා ලදී.
2023 වාර්ෂික වාර්තාවේ මූල්‍ය කාර්ය සාධනය පැහැදිලිව ඉදිරිපත් කිරීම, රාජ්‍ය මුදල් කාර්යක්ෂමව සහ ඵලදායී ලෙස භාවිත කිරීම සහතික කිරීම සඳහා පොල් පර්යේෂණ ආයතනයේ අඛණ්ඩ උත්සාහයන් මෙහිදී පැසසුමට ලක් විය.

Professor Ajith Jayaweera assumed the role of Chairman at the Coconut Research Institute of Sri Lanka, bringing over 25 years of academic and research expertise to the position. As a professor in the Department of Animal Science and Nutrition at the Faculty of Livestock, Fisheries and Nutrition, Wayamba University of Sri Lanka, Prof. Jayaweera is widely recognized for his contributions to both higher education and research in Sri Lanka. He has served as a visiting lecturer at several leading Sri Lankan universities and pioneered the development of a Higher Diploma Program in Teaching Methodology for school educators. Prof. Jayaweera has earned international recognition for his contributions to higher education, including accreditation as a Senior Teacher in Higher Education by the Staff and Educational Development Association (SEDA), UK, in 2017.
Prof. Jayaweera has authored over 90 peer-reviewed research papers and 21 books focused on higher education, teaching methodology, and agricultural sciences. Prof. Jayaweera is also the developer of innovative software tools for animal feed formulation, widely used by feed producers across Sri Lanka. He has also served as the President of the Sri Lanka Association for the Advancement of Science (SLAAS) Section B (Agriculture and Forestry). His extensive experience and vision will undoubtedly contribute to the continued growth and innovation at the Coconut Research Institute of Sri Lanka.

The 60th Session and Ministerial Meeting of the International Coconut Community (ICC) was held at the Hilton Hotel, Colombo from 25 to 27 November 2024 with the participation of Ministers and delegates from 21 member countries and representatives of international partner and observer organizations. The delegates of this meeting visited the Coconut Research Institute on 28th November 2024. For these delegates, an exhibition was held at the Coconut Research Institute with the participation of sister organizations, Coconut Cultivation Board, Coconut Development Authority, Chilaw Plantations Ltd and Kurunegala Plantations Ltd to showcase the role of these organizations in the coconut sector.
