𝐌𝐫. 𝐀𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐚 𝐑𝐨𝐝𝐫𝐢𝐠𝐨 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐡𝐢𝐬 𝐝𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐚𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰 𝐜𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐑𝐞𝐬𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡 𝐁𝐨𝐚𝐫𝐝

Mr. Arosha Rodrigo took over his duties as the new chairman of the Coconut Research Board on 14.03.2024 at the Coconut Research Institute.
During his speech, Mr. Arosha Rodrigu, Chairman of the Coconut Research Board, emphasized the imperative for the Coconut Research Institute to enhance its operational efficiency to contribute effectively to economic growth. He also highlighted the importance of having closer relationships with growers and the public, optimizing resource utilization, and taking proactive measures.
The religious rituals were conducted by Ven.Dr. Hurigaswewe Rathanapala Thero and Ven. Huruwila Piyarathana Thero. Dr. Lalith Perera – Additional Director, Mr. Lionel Kuruppu – Deputy Director (Admin) , Head of the divisions and the officers of the Coconut Research Institute & family members of Mr. Arosha Rodrigo- Chairman, Coconut Research Board, P.P. Wedisinghe – Chief Inspector of Police/ Sirigampala participated in this event.
